Banana Ice Cream
This delicious dessert recipe makes 2 portions. You’ll need to pre-peel, chop and freeze the banana before attempting this recipe.

2 Large Ripe Bananas (Frozen)

Recipe
1) Place chopped frozen banana in a powerful food processor or high speed blender. Blend until fully combined and has formed a smooth consistency.
2) Add small amounts of water if mixture seems too solid and is not blending properly.
Enjoy your banana ice-cream with a few additional slices of banana if you wish. You can also add a different frozen fruit to the mixture to create different flavoured ice-creams - see our blueberry ice-cream or cappuccino ice-cream examples.
Top Tips
If there are any ingredients that you do not like in any of the recipes, then feel free to swap them out for another food choice within the same food category (grains, beans & other legumes, fruit, veg, nuts & seeds).
You can also use frozen fruit or veg when you don’t have the fresh option.
